Tensions during the meeting in the municipality of Vlora, residents of the village of Tragjas protested during the municipal council meeting.

According to residents, the " kuçedra " is taking away our water ( the citizen refers to the oligarchs who have built villas in Palasa and Dhërmi ).

As can be seen from the published footage, the citizen shows that they are not interested in political parties, but simply want their water not to be taken away.  

The project in this region aims to supply water to several tourist complexes, which have previously received strategic investment status.

 This is the argument given in the documents accompanying the procedure.

Over the years, the government, through the Strategic Investment Committee, has granted status to a number of investments that, although designed as tourist complexes, have in many cases ended up as residential villa complexes.

By obtaining the status, investors gain convenience in both obtaining land and facilitating bureaucratic procedures, as well as investments related to infrastructure and access to energy and water.
