VIDEO/ The student breaks down in tears: You don't know what we have been

Today, medical students protested and boycotted classes again to oppose forced employment after graduation.

They have started the protests for almost a week, while today they warned of an escalation of the movement and said that they will not stop until the law is lifted.

During the protest, one of the medical students burst into tears as she mentioned all the difficulties they have gone through in six years of studies.

"I'm a sixth year student and it feels like six years have flown by, but I want to say a special thank you to all those who have just set foot at university and are joining us, even though they don't know what black people we have gone through in these years", she said.

The students' boycott comes after they oppose the new law, which forces them to work for 5 years in Albania after finishing their studies. Second to fourth year students will work three years after graduation, while fifth and sixth year students will work two years after graduation.

The second alternative that is presented to students who are currently in the system, that is, if they do not want to stay for two or three years in Albania after graduation, they will pay the full cost of their studies but for the remaining years.

Meanwhile, there is no decision by the institutions regarding the payment that the students will have to pay if they do not sign the agreement.
