A serious incident took place yesterday evening in Saranda, where 39-year-old Gentian Omeri, who was presented at the Saranda hospital with serious injuries to his face and body, a broken nose, a broken tooth, and a broken finger, is said to have been taken hostage and was tortured by four people

The police of Saranda informs that the perpetrators have already been identified and arrested.

Police notification:

Sarandë/The coded police operation "Hijacking" is completed, for the investigation of a criminal incident in the field of crimes against the person.

The operation was carried out by the Operational Force of DVP Vlorë, in cooperation with the Sarandë Police Station and FNSH, under the direction of the Saranda Prosecutor's Office.

They kidnapped a citizen, held him by force in their vehicle, seriously injured him, with hard objects and left him unconscious, on the street, the Police identified and handcuffed, within a few hours, the 4 suspected perpetrators, one of them with a criminal record. Their accomplice is wanted.

On 19.01.2023, around 01:00, the Sarandë operating room received a notification that some citizens were following the citizen GO by vehicle and his life was being endangered by them.

 


Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services reacted quickly, going to the scene and found on the road of the village of Xarrë, the citizen GO, seriously physically injured, who was immediately sent to the Saranda hospital, where he is currently, under the care of doctors.

Thanks to the quick investigative and professional actions of the Police services, within the coded police operation "Hijacking", based on the information provided by the information intelligence, within a few hours it became possible to clarify the circumstances of the event and identify the perpetrators her suspect.

Following the actions and non-stop pursuit by the Police services, at around 04:00, the localization was done in the village of Shëndelli and the handcuffing of 4 suspected perpetrators, namely citizens:

P. N., 30 vjeç (me precedent të mëparshëm kriminal në fushën e narkotikëve), A. N., 21 vjeç, A. N., 44 vjeç dhe A. N., 21 vjeç (të afërm të njëri-tjetrit), të gjithë banues në fshatin Shëndelli, Sarandë.

Gjithashtu u bë shpallja në kërkim shtetasit A. N., 39 vjeç, banues në Shëndelli, Sarandë. Vijon puna për kapjen e tij.

Nga veprimet hetimore dyshohet se këta shtetas, në bashkëpunim me njëri-tjetrin, për motive të dobëta, kanë përplasur me dashje automjetin që drejtonte shtetasi G. O., të cilin e kanë plagosur duke e goditur me sende të forta, e më pas e kanë futur në automjetin e tyre, duke e mbajtur aty me forcë, dhe më pas e kanë lënë pa ndjenja, në rrugë.

Në cilësinë e provës materiale u sekuestruan 3 automjete që përdoreshin nga të arrestuarit dhe 7 aparate celulare.

The investigative materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office at the Sarandë Judicial District Court, for the criminal offenses "Deliberate grievous bodily harm", "Illegal deprivation of liberty" and "Destruction of property", committed in collaboration.
