The US has announced a list of 75 countries around the world for which US visa processing will be suspended indefinitely.
According to Fox News, among the 75 countries included in the list are Albania and Kosovo - the two most pro-American countries in the region.
While, on the other hand, the only country from the Balkan six that is not part of the restriction, paradoxically, is Serbia – Moscow's only ally in the region.
The suspension comes amid a broad crackdown on immigration pursued by Republican US President Donald Trump since taking office last January.
In November, Trump had promised to "permanently suspend" immigration from all "Third World Countries" after a shooting near the White House by an Afghan national who killed a National Guardsman.
