The anesthesiologist-cardiologist Roland Xhaxho reacted for the first time, after the intervention in his private clinic in Tirana.

The family members accused the doctor that after the anesthesia, the 3-year-old child did not wake up again, while Xhaxho did not answer the phone.

But the doctor says that the family members had signed for the procedure and had agreed that the interventions in the teeth should be performed all on the same day, as there was a risk of spreading the infection. He said that the child had a heart surgery two years ago, and the infection could endanger him.

"The child performed marine procedures in the clinic under general anesthesia as we had clarified with the parents who also signed the consensus. Why was this treatment chosen? Because the boy was born with a heart defect for which he was operated on about 2 years ago.

The main recommendation in these cases is to avoid any source of infection in these children because it causes tooth infections which should absolutely be cured within one session in order to avoid the spread of infections. The boy came out of the clinic awake in his father's arms", said Xhaxho, among other things.
