"The police uniform is sacred"/ The killing of the officer in Fier, Rrumbullaku: I vow to bring the perpetrator to justice

The General Director of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, has expressed regret for the killing of the police officer in Fier, Novruz Cenalia.

Through a message, Rrumbullaku has pledged on behalf of the State Police to bring the perpetrator of the murder to justice.

He expresses his regret that the life of a policeman was cut short by the hand of a murderer on the run, while emphasizing that "the uniform of the State Police is sacred"

Asllan Mërnica, 23 years old, is wanted for the murder of the member of the "Eagles" in Fier. Rrumbullaku emphasized that the author will receive the strictest legal response.

The message of the General Director of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku

"The State Police and I personally feel deeply shocked by the killing of the police officer Novruz Cenalia, at noon on May 13, 2024. The untimely death of a young man like Novruz Cenalia has saddened us all, his family, that is immersed in black tears, and the large family of the State Police.

For all of us, this pain becomes even more bitter when the life of a State Police officer is cut short at the hands of a murderer who is still at large. I pledge on behalf of the State Police that we will do everything to bring the perpetrator of Novruz Cenalia's murder to justice.

He expresses his conviction that the entire public opinion is today on the side of the Cenalia family and the State Police and will help to catch the perpetrator of the crime. I strongly emphasized, even a few days ago, during the memorial ceremonies for the fallen policemen, that the uniform of the State Police was sacred. Anyone who dares to harm the police uniform, the health and life of its employees, will receive the harshest legal response."
