Numerous checkpoints have been set up throughout the district of Fier, while the search for his location continues by FNSH and RENEA as well as by drones from the air.
Voxnews.al learns that after the author met the victim on the street today, he argued about the car, and there started a momentary conflict, due to the narrow road of the village where the cars met.
The policeman was shot in the head causing his death on the spot. After the incident, the author left the car at his uncle's house and left in the fields on foot.
The author Azgan Mernica has a brother in prison, Kiri Mernica, while the officer has a policeman father. The latter was suspected of a murder in Has in 1997 but was declared innocent. This has caused suspicions to arise that the murder could have happened for blood feud.
