Fatbardha Likrama, a mother of three, tried to escape her husband's violence by fleeing to her sister's house, which lives opposite her palace in the Vullnetari neighborhood in Elbasan.

But the raped woman, who 3 days ago had chosen not to be silent and dared to report the violence to the police, was forcibly taken from her sister's house to return to the family bosom, which unlike peace and love offered her violence.

Under this pressure, feeling alone and without support, the 52-year-old ended her life, jumping from the third floor of the palace on the afternoon of May 4th.

The cause for this serious event was the systematic violence that Fatbardha Likrama, a mother of three, experienced in the family, by her husband, mother-in-law and father-in-law.

The victim's sister, Flutura in a media interview has indicated that the day before the event her sister due to violence had gone to her for shelter.

She says that her sister went to her with broken teeth and torn hair, where, among other things, she emphasizes the psychological violence that had begun to be exercised against her. The 52-year-old 2 days ago had asked for a protection order from the police, and had gone for shelter to her sister but it had been her son who had taken her by force and sent her home.

Meanwhile, it is learned that at the time of the event, she was alone in the apartment, climbed to the third floor and threw herself. Among other things, she states that Fatbardha had told her several times that she would commit suicide if the situation continued. Elbasan police after the event stated that she was suffering from depression, but her sister has denied such a thing.
