Five days after the arrest, citizen Eduard Koka, 45 years old from Lezha, died.

The 45-year-old man, who was handcuffed by the Lezha police for drugs, masks and weapons, it is known that in the early hours of the morning of June 7, he did not feel well, having breathing problems and a high temperature.

The medical staff of the prison gave him first aid, but due to the serious situation he was in, he was immediately sent to the emergency room of the regional hospital of Shkodra, and after a few hours he died, failing to survive.

The doctors of the regional hospital tried to stabilize his health condition, but it was impossible.

In this way, the 45-year-old lost his life in a natural way after he felt bad during his stay in Reçi prison while he was in custody. The citizen Eduard Koka was arrested on June 2 of this year by the police of Lezha and after the arrest, from the police station of Lezha he was sent to custody in the prison of Reçi to wait until the court could give a decision about him.

Apparently, the 45-year-old has not been able to cope with his stay in prison, having health concerns that took his life in a quick way.

Eduard Koka was arrested as a result of the immediate administration of information provided by police intelligence, about a citizen suspected of being involved in some criminal activities where the specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the services of the Special Force "Shqiponja" of of the Lezhë police, organized and finalized the coded police operation "Gurra".

From the physical control carried out against this citizen in the neighborhood named "Gurra" in Lezhë, the police services found a quantity of narcotic substance cannabis sativa, divided into doses, ready for sale.

Furthermore, in the residence of this citizen, in the same neighborhood, 7 masks were found, which were allegedly possessed for criminal purposes, 2 cutting tools (knives) and 2 fist enhancers.

After Eduard Koka died due to his worsening health condition, having breathing problems and a high temperature, the police and the Shkodra prosecutor's office are investigating to fully clarify the causes of the death of the 45-year-old man, who was arrested 5 days ago. seen in Lezha.
