The dead body of Aurel Ndoni, who about a month ago drowned in Porto Romano while fishing with his brother, has been found on the coast of Croatia. The family members took the body from Croatia and today they held the burial ceremony in the village of his birth, in Grabjan, Lushnje.

His body was pulled from the sea on the Croatian coast some time ago and lay in an unidentified morgue.

In recent days, an alert has arrived near Aurel's family, and his brother together with his uncle have gone to Croatia to make the identification and bring the body home.

On the evening of the disaster, on February 25, the sea was rough and strong sea currents moved the body of the 40-year-old towards the north, the Dalmatian coast.

Upon receiving notification, the border police and then the RENEA pigeons engaged in a search and rescue operation.

Even when the official search was stopped, the family did not stop searching along the entire coastline from Shkodra to Kavaja, but without results until yesterday when his body was returned to the homeland.
