The lawyers of the 50-year-old Albanian Fatmir Tarellari, who in January killed his 33-year-old brother-in-law Erjon Pelivani because he had raped his daughter, have requested to be released from prison.

Tarellari is being held in a special ward of the Larisa prisons, not with prisoners with serious sentences, while he maintains contact with his three children almost every day, writes Protothema.

According to the 50-year-old, the rape by the 33-year-old Erjon Pelivani happened while his 9-year-old son was in the next room. Tarellari surrendered to the police after killing his brother-in-law, Erjon Pelivani.

The incident was recorded a few days after his 18-year-old daughter confessed to him that she had been raped by her stepbrother for years. The harassment of minors started at the age of 9, while the rapes were recorded at the age of 12 to 14.

Also, the girl was threatened by the 33-year-old whenever she published images during the acts if she did not give him money. The incident also came to light from spending and asking for money from family members.

The 50-year-old also claimed that his daughter reached the point of suicide after what her 33-year-old uncle went through. He emphasized that his livelihood is his and his family's, his 9-year-old son and his daughter who is a student at the University depend only on his work, as they have no other income.

A psychiatrist who examined the 18-year-old before the murder on January 9 found that the girl suffers from post-traumatic stress after years of repeated sexual abuse, rape and blackmail, while she is monitored daily and needs immediate treatment.
