The candidate for deputy of the Albania Initiative, who was arrested the day before after allegedly being caught with cocaine, has reportedly been released by the Police.

Ergys Isufi was released from the Saranda Police premises around 10:00 PM on the evening of May 7.

The police have not issued an official statement about his arrest and there is no information on whether or not any charges have been filed against him.

Adriatik Lapaj 's candidate was found with a dose of cocaine on him, which sources say he is suspected of having for personal use.

He was stopped by the police while traveling with another minor from Saranda to Borsh, where he was to hold an electoral rally and then head to Tirana to participate in the closing meeting of the campaign to be held tomorrow by the " Albania Becomes" Initiative .

During the search, Isufi initially attempted to leave, but was stopped and neutralized by blue uniforms.
