A serious incident occurred in Menidi, Greece, where a 14-year-old girl from Albania, who was pregnant, was brutally beaten by her mother.
The violence inflicted by the mother resulted in a spontaneous abortion and the teenager presented herself to the police with the fetus in a bag.
According to protothema.gr, officers arrested the 54-year-old mother for serious bodily harm and domestic violence.
It is suspected that the woman, for reasons still unknown, raped her pregnant minor daughter, resulting in the latter's spontaneous abortion.
The girl took the fetus and presented herself to the commissariat, and has now been sent to the Children's Department.
