Urban and intercity transport will return to normal, following an agreement between the Transport Association and representatives of the government and local authorities.
Representatives of the association report that after the meeting with the Minister of Economy, the Minister of Infrastructure and the Deputy Mayor, it was agreed to continue the service normally, while a possible subsidy per liter of fuel was also discussed, the value of which has yet to be determined.
The association emphasizes that from today, transportation will continue at full capacity.
"We had a meeting with the Minister of Economy, the Minister of Infrastructure and the deputy mayor, we agreed that transportation will return to normal and there will be a subsidy of lek per liter, but the value will be up for discussion.
From today, transportation will continue at full capacity, as operators also want to provide the service properly due to what was seen these two days.
"We will have another meeting next week to discuss other economic demands, such as VAT, excise duty, categories that travel free of charge," the association said.
