Journalist Anila Hoxha has provided new details on the "Breaking" show on Top News regarding the serious tragedy in Shkodra, where a 24-year-old woman and her two minor children lost their lives after being engulfed in flames in the apartment they were in.

According to Hoxha, investigations by the Shkodra Police and the Prosecution continue, while the main lead currently being investigated is that of an accidental event.

Preliminary suspicions are related to the explosion of a gas cylinder, which was found inside the apartment.

"From the findings and examinations carried out by the fire brigade, which arrived at the scene, it results that the intervention was difficult due to the rugged and mountainous terrain, which was difficult to access. According to preliminary data also made public by the Shkodra Prosecutor's Office, it is suspected that the incident occurred accidentally due to the explosion of a gas cylinder, which was found inside the apartment. The apartment where the tragedy occurred was an uninhabitable object, but the family had returned to adapt it and make it habitable. The couple lived in Germany and had managed to obtain documentation to live there, after they had left Albania with the aim of a better life. From the data collected and preliminary evidence it results that Bleona Çelaj, together with her husband and two young children, had returned to Albania on July 15 for summer holidays. Afterwards, they had temporarily moved to a relative's apartment, while they were working on arranging the house in the village of Domen in the Postribë administrative unit, where the unfortunate event also occurred.

The victim's husband has been questioned by the authorities and it is expected that his testimony will be used in further investigation reports. He stated that they were adjusting the apartment and that he had left the house for a few moments to buy some items at a village store. During his absence, the tragic event occurred.

For investigators, the scene was gruesome. Upon arriving and examining the scene, they found the mother and two young children dead.

"Today, the final farewell ceremony for Bleona Çelaj and her two children will take place. The family will be escorted to their final home at 3:00 PM, while the funeral will take place in the village of Domen," the journalist said.
