Minister of Internal Affairs, Pance Toshkovski, provided details about the tragedy with over 50 deaths in Kocani.

He said the death toll is at least 51 people.

Toshkovski said that according to information, the fire started at 02:35 after midnight, from sparks from stage fireworks which then caught fire on the ceiling, which was made of flammable material.

The minister said that people have been arrested, while emphasizing that each person involved in this tragedy will be held responsible.
