Tragedy in Germany/ Uncle of one of the Albanians: Nephew in coma, went to work

Four Albanians tragically lost their lives while another was injured at a construction site in Germany. Luan Cemenja, the uncle of the Albanian who was injured, in an interview for Report TV, said that his nephew is still in a coma for 48 hours.

He explains that his nephew, Alfred Dija, 35 years old, used to go to Germany for seasonal work, for 3 months, and then return. Cemenja says that his nephew had booked a ticket to return to Albania on December 2, but unfortunately he was seriously injured in Germany, after the scaffolding where they were working on the eighth floor of a building collapsed and fell into an elevator shaft. To inquire about Alfred Dija's condition, his brother and cousin have gone to Germany.

Cemenja also identified one of the victims, Astrit Gjeka, originally from Dibra, but his family lives in Durrës.

"His name is Alfred Dija from Mati. He is still in a coma, parameters are reported to be stable. Very damaged. 48 hours are up, we are waiting for new information. There was also one from my village, I'm from Dibra, his name is Astrit Gjeka, originally from Selishta, but his family lives in Durrës. He was confirmed dead, badly injured. My grandson used to come and go, while on December 10th he turns 2 months old, on December 2nd he booked his ticket to come and had an accident. I don't know anyone else, the others seem to me to be from Elbasan.

The possibility is small, a brother of Afred who lives in Italy has gone to take an interest with his cousin. We keep in touch, it's parameters are stable with a tendency to improve", said Cemenja.
