The Greek authorities have arrested four police officers after torturing an Albanian prisoner. Neighboring media reports that the three policemen and their chief have been sent to the prosecutor's office accused of torture and serious insult.

Everything was revealed after the complaint made by the Albanian convict in the Greek prisons. The latter was serving a sentence for robbery and drug trafficking, but his identity has not yet been revealed.

According to the information, the Albanian complained to the police that while he was in the transfer cage from Thessaloniki to Korydallos, he confessed that the officers hit him on the head after he asked them for water on the way.

Besides the violence, they had not even given him water. He also complained that when he arrived in Korydallos he was fitted with a helmet so that the blows to his head could not be seen. Inside the cage were eleven prisoners who also testify that the police beat the Albanian convict, while they claim that he was wearing the helmet after trying to hit his head in the cage.

However, when he arrived in Korydallos, a prison guard spotted the marks on the prisoner's head and notified the relevant authorities, which led to the arrest of four policemen.
