Court remands former ASHK leaders in Fier

The Fier Court has remanded former Cadastral Directors Ertis Shehu and Bardhyl Kapaj in prison, while for businessman Kastriot Hasko it has decided to replace the security measure with "house arrest".

They are accused of a suspected property alienation scheme in the Seman area.

Decision:

1. The continuation of the coercive personal security measure against the person under investigation ES, that of "Arrest in prison", provided for by Article 238 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

2. The continuation of the "Arrest in Prison" measure as a coercive personal security measure against the person under investigation P.Ç., as provided for by Article 238 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

3. The continuation of the "Arrest in Prison" measure, as a coercive personal security measure against the person under investigation BK, as provided for by Article 238 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

4. Replacing the personal security measure against the person under investigation KH, from the security measure "Arrest in prison" to that of "House arrest", provided for by Article 237 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. A measure that will be imposed on the person under investigation in his home.

5. The person under investigation is ordered not to leave his/her residential address and not to have contact with other persons except family members.

6. The immediate release of the person under investigation KH is ordered, if he is not being held or should not be held for the purpose of any other security measure or sentence.

7. The Judicial Police is ordered to execute this decision.

8. The Prosecution and the Judicial Police are tasked with supervising and controlling the implementation of the decision on the personal security measure "House Arrest" by the person under investigation KH.

9. An appeal may be filed against this decision at the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction of Tirana within 5 (five) days from the day after the notification of the decision.
