The process against Fatmir Mediu in the Special Court started with tensions and debate between the former Minister of Defense and the families of the victims of "Gërdec"

The media and defense lawyers requested a new expert report on the economic damage that was caused in the weapons dismantling factory in Gërdec.

The judicial body has been withdrawn to make a decision regarding the request for a new expert report on economic damage.

While Mediu asked the court that the process be done with cameras and on the other hand the families of the victims addressed the former minister with the words, " you are a murderer and the prosecutors are to blame for not arresting you ".
