Eight fireplaces are currently active throughout the country.

This was announced by the Ministry of Defence, where through a post on social media the Ministry informs that during today, the National Operational Center for Civil Emergencies at AKMC reported the extinguishment of 7 fireplaces.

According to the ministry, work is continuing until the final extinguishment of active fires in the districts of Vlora, Saranda, Korca and Tirana.

"None of these areas are dangerous to the area. In today's actions, in addition to the Civil Emergency Forces of the local government, 60 armed forces were also engaged", the Ministry of Defence said.

Another fireplace has broken out in the village of Sinja in Kumanovo, where it is reported that several significant areas planted with olive trees have been burned.
