A 28-year-old man was arrested by the police in Tirana, after it turned out that he was driving under the influence of drugs.

The police in a press release informs that the young man was arrested after he was caught without a seat belt and then it turned out that he was exhibiting suspicious behavior.

With the arrest of the young man, the total number of people caught driving under the influence of drugs has reached 125.

"The number of drivers who have been found to be under the influence of drugs, after testing with the AquilaScan device, reaches 125.

The driver of the vehicle with the initials DD, 28 years old, was found not wearing a safety belt.

This citizen has manifested suspicious behavior while driving the vehicle as well as in relation to the legal requirements of the police officers, and the verification with a drug test resulted under the effect of "THC" drugs.

As mentioned above, the driver of the vehicle was immediately caught and arrested in flagrante delicto as a suspect for the criminal offense of "Driving a vehicle in an irregular manner", provided for by Article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Albania", informs the police.
