Controls to combat criminal activity in the field of narcotic plant cultivation continue.

The 26th phase of the anti-cannabis police mega-operation coded "Clean Territory", by the Tirana DVP and the police stations depending on it, is finalized.

During the 26th phase, 17 control groups with 140 police officers were engaged and 11 drones were used.

480 cannabis sativa narcotic plants were destroyed by burning.

Previously, as a result of other phases of this operation, 13,850 narcotic cannabis plants were destroyed.

The services of the Krujë Police Station and other police stations depending on the Tirana DVP, in cooperation with the services of the Special Force "Shqiponja", have continued the controls in the mountainous areas of Krujë, using drones, in order to prevent, identify and attack of the criminal activity of cultivating narcotic plants.

From these controls, during the 26th phase of the "Clean Territory" mega-operation, in the territories of the villages of Kroi i Madh, Mafsheq, Shqeze, Krastë and Picragë, in Krujë, 480 suspected cannabis sativa narcotic plants were found cultivated, which were destroyed by burning.

The investigative structures, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, continue the work to identify and capture the perpetrators of the cultivation of narcotic plants.
