"Relations with Rama were broken earlier", Fevziu: Ahmetaj will not
Blendi Fevziu and Arben Ahmetaj

Journalist Blendi Fevziu says that the way MP Arben Ahmetaj left leaves doubts that he will not return to face justice.

In a related statement to Klan News, Fevziu believes that there will be no surprises regarding the decision to remove Ahmetaj's mandate, as he says that it seems that "the majority has let the deputy go".

Fevziu says Ahmetaj's relations with Rama were broken earlier.

The scenarios that circulate around the former minister Arben Ahmetaj are numerous and have especially increased after the confirmation of the news that he is not in Albania. Do you think it is his strategy or do you believe that Ahmetaj will return and face justice?

Blendi Fevziu: I don't know that Ahmetaj himself has not given any explanation, but the way Ahmetaj left on Friday, that is, a few hours maybe even minutes before SPAK sent the request to the Parliament for the removal of his immunity, let me doubts that Ahmetaj will not return to face the process, at least not at the beginning because we do not know how it will go after that. However, these are just suspicions.

According to the information, referring to our sources, I believe that on Monday at 17:00 there will be a plenary session for the removal of Ahmetaj's immunity. Apparently, it will be a special session, so it will be preceded by the examination of the report. I don't think there will be any surprises. The majority has taken a step, let's say "released Ahmetaj" since Rama's famous statements that "whoever has problems, get a lawyer because he cannot find protection in the SP". No surprises are expected in this regard. The only question is whether Ahmetaj himself will be present or not.

There will certainly be other people involved and there are a number of queues, and the first queue is related to the fact that this contract will continue, if it is verified that it was concluded under corrupt conditions, then the termination of the contract should be considered. There is political responsibility, it is about a contract that has been approved by the government, but the people who have produced problems bear individual responsibility. If Ahmetaj will be succeeded by another former minister, or at higher levels, the issue will be problematic.

As far as I can tell, Ahmetaj's relations with Rama were broken earlier. Even in "Opinion" a few months ago, Ahmetaj gave the main messages to Rama. He told him that "the prime minister should be the prime minister". There was no journalist dealing with the chronicle who did not know that something would happen to Ahmetaj. It's not that secret, it didn't come suddenly. Ahmetaj could leave until his immunity was lifted. It is a matter of will whether to face justice or not. If Ahmetaj does not appear in court, it makes the issue of incinerators politically difficult.
