A transgender turned to Fiks Fare because he was unable to register at the Faculty of Law. He completed his studies in Political Science (Bachelor) at the University of Elbasan and wants to continue a second faculty.

In the ID and diploma, the name of the man is Ersil Myrtollari, in everyday life he introduces himself as Luana Myrtaj, since 3 years ago he also had a plastic surgery where he placed his chest. Luana is an orphan and 24 years old. Since there were free quotas in the Faculty of Law, she wants to complete this faculty as well, since she gets the required average. He completed all the relevant procedures and documentation at this faculty, but since two months they are not registering him.

The transgender person states that after completing the registration procedure at the Educational Services Center (QSHA), the faculty left him on hold. Regarding Fiksin, he claims that even though he has been interested in the faculty secretary several times, the secretaries bully him and call him by his ID name, that is, that of a man. Already transformed into a woman, Luana Myrta wants to have equal rights. Has paid quota and expects to benefit from additional quotas. The number of quotas when Luana applied was 120 free places, after this time that she is trying to register, there are 22 free places left. In addition to the number of places that is decreasing, the expiration of registration deadlines also penalizes it.

Luana lives with her mother and has the status of an orphan, and she has made the payments with the money she receives from the social assistance she receives.

"I don't understand why I have to be treated this way. I want to defend with my voice the rights of the community I represent and demand my right to study. I felt bullied and this led me to attempt suicide," she says to Fiks Fare.

Fiks Fare, after verifying all the documentation brought by Ersild Myrtollari, turned to the Faculty of Law to ask why his registration procedure was being delayed.

The information office at this faculty announced that the registration deadline for this student has passed. Meanwhile, the whistleblower had been registered for 5 days and the deadline expired one day after this phone call.

After that, Fiks Fare contacted the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, Mr. Erjon Muharrem

He informed that in accordance with the legislation in force, this student had to present the diploma and the list of grades of the first study program.

Meanwhile, the Educational Services Center had given this student the right to register at the Faculty of Law through the results of the State Matura, so that the registration deadlines would not expire.

After Fiks Fare's interest in the Faculty of Law, one day later, on the last day of the registration deadline, the secretariat of this faculty contacted the Myrtollari student to appear for registration.

Luana, after winning the right to start her studies, thanked Fiks Fare for voicing her concern and solving the problem.
