During the last 24 hours, 9 fires have been reported in five municipalities: Tirana, Durrës, Kavajë, Lezhë and Berat.

All fires have been neutralized - the National Civil Protection Agency announces, without causing damage to people, homes or livestock.

9 operational forces and 64 firefighting vehicles have been engaged in firefighting operations.

Regarding the risk of fires, authorities announce that a "high" risk level is expected in the regions of Lezhë, Durrës, Tirana and Fier, while in the other regions a "moderate" risk level is predicted.

During the last 24 hours, 9 fires have been reported in five municipalities: Tirana, Durrës, Kavajë, Lezhë and Berat. All fires have been successfully neutralized, without causing damage to people, homes or livestock.

In 6 cases, the fire has involved areas with bushes and grass, causing the burning of about 0.5 hectares. In 2 cases, the fire has hit homes: one in neighborhood no. 5 of the Kavaja Municipality and one in the village of Ishull Shëngjin, where material damage has been caused. In the case of Ishull Shëngjin, due to a gas leak, a woman was injured, who was immediately transported to the Trauma Hospital.

In another case, a private vehicle caught fire, causing only material damage. 9 operational forces and 64 firefighting vehicles were engaged in firefighting operations.

According to the forecasts of the Institute of Geosciences, no rain is expected today.

Regarding the risk of fires, a "HIGH" risk level is expected in the regions of Lezhë, Durrës, Tirana and Fier, while in the other regions a "MODERATE" risk level is predicted. The entire Civil Protection mechanism, both at the local and central levels, remains engaged and in continuous monitoring of the situation.
