Prime Minister Edi Rama in his speech at the National Assembly of the Socialist Party focused mainly on Albania's success in tourism.

According to Rama, the right lessons should be learned from this successful season. Therefore, he emphasizes that the next 5 years will be a great test for tourism in Albania.

He warns that next year the country will face higher demands, therefore we must work hard so that the "good name" we received today does not turn into a "boomerang" considering the strong competition in the Mediterranean.

"The lessons of this season must be learned, so that this country does not become a victim of this year's success. The 5 years ahead of us will be a real trial by fire for touristic Albania. As of next year, we will have to face a much higher demand than this year's, both in terms of quantity and quality. If in this new phase we will not live up to the increased expectation of the world towards us, then this good name we received today will turn into a "boomerang" and we will be eaten alive sooner than later by the competition. merciless of this Mediterranean basin, where we have just entered the Super League, while others around have been playing for the cup for many, many years", said the Prime Minister.

According to him, the good news of this year is the fact that Albania has turned into a European destination and its face has been whitened.  

"The best news of this year is not the staggering number of tourists, but the international affirmation of Albania as a European destination. This country has been whitened once and for all, the face blackened by a heavy past of many years", said Rama.
