In an interview for Breaking with Xhoi Malësia in Top News, the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj spoke about the issue that caused a great public and judicial debate, his presence in SPAK that received attention for the incinerators.

I have been asking for official cooperation with SPAK for a long time for a party that has no complexes and has expressed readiness. What should impress us is not a man who respects the law, but those who reject and attack the organs of justice.

I call you colleagues from the media, that is, people who have engaged in a public vocation because there is a common mission. Those who see them as enemies do not want some institutions to function.
