Storm 'Ciaran' covers Tirana, Veliaj: Be careful and minimize
Storm 'Ciaran' includes Tirana

The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has appealed to the citizens to minimize their movements after the rain storm, which has swept the country in the last few hours.

Through a post on Facebook, Veliaj assures that the Municipality's teams are on the ground for any emergency, while calling for any emergency to call 112.

"CAUTION - SEVERE WEATHER. In the last few hours, Tirana has been engulfed by a strong storm with heavy rainfall, similar to the storm Ciara that hit Florence and Tuscany during the night. Please be careful in the next 24 hours and reduce unnecessary movements until the situation normalizes! Our teams are currently on site for any emergency. Help elderly neighbors in case of need. Thanks for understanding! Tel: 112 for emergencies. Together. Without panic and with solidarity", writes Veliaj.
