Jamarbër Malltezi has appealed to the Special Court of Appeal the decision on the sequestration of properties.

His lawyers claim that the seized properties are from legitimate sources.

A few days ago, the lawyers also appealed the measure "Arrest with prison" demanding its revocation.

Malltezi was arrested in Rinas on October 21. The arrest was made by order of SPAK, related to the privatization of the former sports club "Partizani".

Malltezi is accused by the Special Prosecutor's Office of "Passive Corruption" and "Money Laundering" in connection with the privatization of the former sports complex.

For the same issue, GJKKO has set security measures "Compulsion to appear" for Sali Berisha and entrepreneur Fatmir Bektashi.

The former prime minister was banned from leaving the country and was accused of passive corruption carried out in cooperation.
