The Strasbourg Court has deemed the dismissal from Vetting of former Supreme Court judge Shkëlzen Selimi unfair .

Following this decision, the lawyer of former Supreme Court judge Ylli Manjani has reacted , demanding that the state reinstate him.

We recall that the GJKKO also declared Shkëlzen Selimi innocent of the charges brought by SPAK for refusing to declare and concealing assets.

Reaction of the lawyer, Ylli Manjani:

Shkëlzen Selimi , a judge of the Supreme Court, was dismissed by the vetting masters for Kavaje's bribery.

Based on these allegations, he was subjected to absurd criminal scrutiny for 4 years in a row, until the GJKKO judge Rudina Palloj, with great patience and professionalism, found him innocent, on the grounds that there were no criminal facts connected to him.

The Strasbourg Court has just declared that the dismissal of Judge Selimi is unjust and in violation of the Albanian Constitution and Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights.

A strong and well-deserved slap for the gossipy vetting, but also for the Albanian state that has elevated rumors to a constitutional level.

Congratulations to Shkëlzen Selim!

Now the state should close the prison and return the magistrate to work because the system needs it.
