More anesthetists, resuscitators, pediatricians, family and emergency physicians will specialize this year.

The University of Medicine has published admission quotas for those who want to follow the cycle of specialized studies, where specialties have 20 admission quotas.

Due to recent trends, candidates prefer dermatology, although there are only 5 admission quotas.

"The demand for surgery has decreased, but it has increased for dermatology, which they did not prefer before," said Prof. drt. Arben Gjata-rector of UMT.

The Rector of the University said that a new branch is opening in dental medicine, meanwhile, in the soon to be opened professional master's degree in dental technique, there will be joint degrees with the University of Pescara.

"Orthodontics, professional master's in dentistry and dental technician are opening", said Gjata.

This year, 325 medical students will begin to specialize, who must not have less than 380 points accumulated from the computerized test plus the average points./Tch
