Even this Sunday has found the residents of Bëxulla in protest, who oppose the project for the Thumanë-Kashar road.

Residents express themselves against the demolition of their properties, as they do not agree on the value given for their compensation.

" We don't know where our children will end up tomorrow, their property and house will be taken away and the state remains indifferent. Today, as we are on the 150th day of the protest, we receive some information. We are sorry that they have not yet reached the conclusion about the value of our property. The law provides that, one year before the project, the inventory of properties must be done and the price of the property must be published. The state does not want to solve the issue which is very simple.

We have presented the value of a property sold on October 31, 2022, with a value of around 50 euros per square meter.

This state will either not put water on the fire and wants to kill us forever or wants to play like cat and mouse testing our nerves. We have been calling for them to come and sit down in negotiations with us for 5 months. Our nerves can't hold anymore. We are being very civilized.

We will have more extreme forms of protest, we have shown them that we know how to do it all. We have made things very controlled" , said one of them to the media.
