A serious event was recorded during the night in Kuçovo. A 52-year-old man, as he entered the premises of a citizen's apartment, tried to steal some chickens, but he was confronted by the owner of the property, while he fell prey to violence.

The event happened in the '11 Janari' neighborhood shortly after midnight, near the city cemetery.

Citizen Lefter (Proud) Brisku was caught red-handed by the owner of the house with a bag of chickens that he had stolen from the coop, while then the latter's son, the 20-year-old with the initials B.Sh, intervened and started to rape him. It is learned that the thief, who is believed to have been drunk, suffered severe head fractures.

After alerting the police by the owner of the apartment, the ambulance arrived at the scene and transported the thief to the Kuçova hospital. After being given first aid in Kuçovo, the 52-year-old was reportedly transported to Berat hospital and then to Trauma, for specialized help.
