The driver of the casino where 22-year-old Kenyan Joy Aoko worked was released by the police a few hours after giving his testimony regarding the suspicions of the investigators that he may have a hand in the beating and rape of the young woman, who after a few months died in a coma in a hospital in Kenya. Rodi Barci, 32 years old, stated that he was in a relationship with Joy, but at the time when the incident happened, they were separated and no longer had a relationship with each other.
The black squads also issued several orders for questioning, in addition to which the victim's friend, Emily Mutua, was also questioned for the second time. Joy Aoko from Kenya is suspected of being brutally raped and thrown from the apartment where she lived in Tirana, and as a result of serious injuries she died a few months after being in the hospital.
The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana sent a letter to the Prosecutor's Office of Kenya and asked them to make available the autopsy that was performed on the 22-year-old in the morgue of the hospital where she died. This request comes within the framework of the Tirana prosecutor's investigation into the death of Joy Ayoko. The 22-year-old left Albania on January 25 of this year, towards her hometown to be treated at Kenyatta Hospital, in Kenya. Joy left the trauma hospital in a half coma, unconscious and passed away in Kenya.
We recall that since August 14, 2022, the girl from Kenya was hospitalized for treatment in the Trauma hospital, after being brutally raped and thrown from the second floor of the apartment where she lived on "Pandeli Evangjeli" street in Tirana, although the incident is still shrouded in mystery. They discussed with Joy's mother, the doctors who care for the young woman in the hospital and then met with the police officers who are investigating the incident, who took them to the apartment where the brutal rape of the 22-year-old took place.
So far, no one has been arrested in connection with the case, but the police claimed that they are in pursuit of the perpetrators. The 22-year-old Kenyan woman was in a coma in the Trauma hospital with broken ribs and bones, hand and stomach injuries and brain damage since August 14. The young woman worked in a casino in Tirana where she lived for a long time together with some of her friends also from Kenya. According to her, the girl had told her friends that she was being stalked by a taxi driver who constantly asked her to have intimate relationships.
