SPAK launches investigation into several Healthcare tenders, among those

An investigation launched 1 year ago by SPAK has focused on several tenders held by the Health Care Services Operator (OSKSH), which is subordinate to the Ministry of Health.

It is learned that this investigation is currently being pursued by one of the heads of sections at SPAK, who has initiated criminal proceedings on charges of "Abuse of office" and "Corruption of public officials."

Among the people being investigated are Lorenc Hashorva, the former director of the Health Care Services Operator, and several other officials who served as members of the Bid Evaluation Committee in tender procedures opened by this institution.

"Ora News" has learned that these are 4 private companies that have filed criminal reports with SPAK, which have requested criminal prosecution against former director Lorenc Hashorva and other employees.

Currently, investigative actions are being pursued by an investigative group, while several tender procedure files have been withdrawn from the OSKSH.

Lorenc Hashorva has served as director of this institution, while previously he worked as the head of the border unit for health inspection in Rinas and a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine in Tirana./oranews
