SPAK files new charges against Erion Veliaj?

Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj

Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj was today at SPAK where he was questioned by special prosecutors regarding the investigations against him for about 1 and a half hours.

According to Balkan Web, Veliaj has been informed of suspicions for a new charge related to introducing prohibited items into detention cells, an offense related to Article 324 A/1 for introducing prohibited items into detention cells.

Veliaj is currently being transferred from SPAK premises to the detention cells in Durrës.
