Lulzim Berisha

The GJKKO has today officially communicated the measure of "prison arrest" to Lulzim Berisha, who was extradited from Spain to Albania two days ago.

The Special Court in 2020 imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" on Berisha for the criminal offenses of "Premeditated murder", "Murder under qualifying circumstances", against 2 or more persons and "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", committed in the form of a structured criminal group.

The 54-year-old, in collaboration with several other people, injured 2 people in 2004, and in 2005, he shot and killed three people and injured another.

Lulzim Berisha was arrested in Spain in December 2023 for the purpose of extradition to Albania.
