Doctor Edvin Prifti appeared today at the premises of the SPAK Special Prosecutor's Office, where he was informed of the charges against him, at the end of the investigations.

It is learned that the cardiac surgeon has been accused by SPAK of "corruption" and "money laundering".

Cardiac surgeon Prifti appeared on the wiretaps in the file of the former judge of Kruja Enkelejda Hoxha, while talking to one of the court employees.

During the search of the doctor's office and home, large sums of money were found and seized. SPAK is investigating him under suspicion of money laundering, as well as of involvement in the tender of the SSC.

The priest denied the accusations and stated that the money was all justified.
