Rain is expected today, temperatures will drop

Today, Thursday, April 30, is expected to be characterized by unstable weather conditions throughout the country. According to forecasts, precipitation will be present in almost all regions, with varying intensity.

In the regions of Kukës, Dibër and Durrës, light to locally moderate rainfall is expected, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms. Meanwhile, in the other regions of the country, rainfall will be mainly light.

In the northeastern areas, especially at altitudes above 1000 meters above sea level, precipitation is expected to take the form of snow, temporarily restoring winter characteristics to these areas.

As for temperatures, they will remain relatively cool for this period. In coastal areas, temperatures are expected to fluctuate from 12 to 17 degrees Celsius. In low-lying areas, minimum temperatures will drop to 9 degrees, while maximums will reach up to 18 degrees Celsius. In mountainous areas, temperatures will be lower, ranging from 4 to 15 degrees Celsius.

The wind in coastal areas will strengthen, reaching medium to strong intensity.
