Fatjon Murati is suspected to have been the target of the assassination recorded yesterday evening in his bar in "Don Bosko", where the bartender of the bar Mimoza Paja, 58 years old, was killed, and five other people were injured, including a minor 10 years old.

It is suspected that the assassination was the result of a revenge between criminal groups. Some time ago, Fatjon Murati was arrested after the announcement of the search for an arms base discovered in Tirana, while he was caught in the car together with Indrit Dokle and the latter's brother-in-law Gentjan Reçin.

However, he was released again and yesterday he broke the "house arrest" measure, as he was not even in his apartment and is suspected to be abroad.

But who is Murat? The boy from Kukësi is well known in the sports world. He was a professional boxer. He even competed for the world champion title in the IBF Junior Federation against Francesco Versace.

At that time he was living in Germany and he would go to that match without any loss. Murat started his career as a professional boxer in 2008 in Munich, Germany. He had his beginnings in Albania, where he was noticed for his talent in this sport. After Luan Krasniqi and Nuri Sefer, Murat was the third Albanian boxer to fight for such an important title.

He did not continue his career in this sport for many years. Meanwhile, last year in our country it was mentioned in the mafia assassination that happened at the crossing of Fushë Kruja where 3 people were killed. The prosecution and the court failed to prove the former boxer's guilt, however, he was arrested for carrying weapons without a permit, where he also suffered the security measure of house arrest.
