EU Ambassador to Albania Luigi Sorace will leave here as an honorary citizen of Kumanovo.
The title for Sorecan was handed over this Sunday by the mayor of the stone city, Flag Golemi.
"Depths affected for the evaluation as "Honorary Citizen" of Kumanovo by Mayor Flag Golemi, in the presence of ministers Mirela Kumbaro and Bledi Chuci. I had the privilege of supporting the efforts of this wonderful Albanian city in strengthening its cultural heritage and its extraordinary tourist potential.
"The stone city deserves to shine brightly among albania's other precious stones, and the EU is here to lend its help," EU Ambassador Luigi Soreca said.
