Young Albanians today are looking for a more stable financial, social and professional perspective.

This report analyzes employer-employee mismatches in the domestic market and includes about 250 entrepreneurs and 260 young people surveyed in total.

The mentality of the employer, which includes communication, responsibility, safety or stability at work, constitutes the second main problem for 16% of the total respondents.

The recognition or evaluation of the work by the superior has a high weight for 17% of the respondents.
Thirdly, but no less important are working conditions, introductory training and professional training and career growth opportunities, respectively with 15% of the total respondents each.

The part of young people who do not find themselves in the offers of the subjects or have chosen alternatives that require less professional knowledge but which offer them a higher income or are leaving the country mainly towards European countries.

42% of young people say that the main reason why they consider employment outside Albania is financial and social stability. Professional development is essential for 28% of participants in the Investment Council questionnaire.

The lack of labor force, especially of young people who choose to leave the country to work, has become a concern for businesses. World Bank. in the last report on regional developments pointed out that a new wave of emigration of young Albanians is one of the main causes of the labor force shortage.

According to the Bank, the expressed desire to emigrate now peaks among the 27-30 age group in Albania, suggesting that emigration will continue to change Albania's demographic structure.
