Intense rains throughout today continue to keep the flows in the rivers of the Fier region at high levels. Although in Memaliaj there are reports of a drop in the level of the Vjosa River, the situation at the Mifoli Bridge is completely different.

The latest measurements show that the Vjosa has reached a level of 8.2 meters, marking a significant increase.

If the flows continue at this intensity, the river level is expected to rise further, which could cause additional problems in low-lying areas, surrounding agricultural lands, and even homes.

Authorities are closely monitoring the situation and are continuously appealing to residents to be cautious and follow official instructions.
