The court hearings for the sensational "Golden Bullet" case continue at the GJKKO, where the repentant justice official, Nuredin Dumani, has given his testimony regarding various criminal events.
During this Thursday's hearing, lawyers had the opportunity to question Dumani about his activities and connections with criminal groups, while he also testified about the robbery of a jeweler in the city of Elbasan.
The first to question him was lawyer Sokol Hazizaj, who asked the repentant justice official about his residences over the years.
Dumani: "I moved from Dibra to Rrogozhina, then to Durrës and I have moved from time to time. In 2020 I got an apartment in Elbasan, across from the park."
Following the hearing, Dumani was also asked about his acquaintance with Gentian Sharra, another person connected to criminal groups.
Lawyer: "How do you know Gentian Sharra?"
Dumani: "I've known Talo Çela since 2010-2011. He had a bar near Talo Çela's house in Bradashesh. He also had a service station, where I've been several times, both alone and with other people."
According to Dumani's testimony, he and Sharra had collaborated in various thefts and robberies, including a robbery of a jeweler in Elbasan in 2011 or early 2012.
Dumani: "At first we transported the stolen cars and then we organized the robberies. This robbery was one of the biggest we have ever carried out. The target was a jeweler in Elbasan, it was planned by Gentian Sharra, who wanted to participate since it was a large sum. On the day of the robbery, Ilirjan Keci and I went first. We hit the victim in a parking lot of an old neighborhood, as he was walking towards his car, an old 'Benz'. Then, Talo Çela and Sharra came to execute the rest of the plan."
Where was the plan for the robbery discussed?
Dumani: "The plan was discussed at Talo Çela's house, which is located next to Gentian Sharra's service station. The house was two-story with a roof and at that time there was no gate, only a net."
What was the victim like and how was the robbery carried out?
Dumani: "The victim was stocky and taller than me. The robbery took place between 7:00 and 8:00 in the morning, on a rainy day. We took two bags, one dark blue or black, I don't remember exactly."
Did you learn the victim's name?
Dumani: "I didn't fix it, because I wasn't interested."
What was inside the bags?
Dumani: "There were various jewelry items in the bags, over 30 watches and about 8.3 kg of gold, not counting the watches. After the robbery, we went to Talo Çela's house and emptied the items into the attic. We removed the bags to avoid any GPS devices."
How did you leave the scene?
Dumani: "That day we had a dark blue 'Benz 2500'. We went and returned in the same car. We also had two other vehicles, a 'Rover 75' and another 'Benz 2500'."
What happened to the stolen bags?
Dumani: "Talo Çela took the bags, but I don't know where he took them."
What were you wearing on the day of the robbery?
Dumani: “I don’t remember.”
How did the robbery happen?
Dumani: "Ilirjan Feçi took the bag and the situation got a little out of control, as we didn't want to kill the victim."
Was there a physical confrontation with the victim?
Dumani: "There was no time for conflict, as he was hit with a crowbar."
Who was in the car when returning from the scene?
Dumani: "In the vehicle were me, Ilirjan Feçi, Gentian Sharra and Talo Cela."
