After the massacre by Dan Hutra with three women killed and three others injured, the Laws Committee of the Assembly has requested information from public institutions.

The Chairperson of the Committee for Legal Affairs, Public Administration and Human Rights of the Assembly, Klotilda Bushka, addressed several public institutions, requesting relevant information in order to verify the situation beforehand.

Bushka has asked the High Inspector of Justice for information on the measures taken to verify the possible disciplinary responsibilities of magistrates in the prosecutor's office and courts, where cases against the perpetrators of crimes have been examined.

After the tragic events of the murder of three women and the wounding of three others, at the beginning of March, the Chairperson of the Committee for Legal Affairs, Public Administration and Human Rights of the Assembly, Mrs. Klotilda Bushka, in the function of exercising the monitoring competence of the Commission for the implementation of legislation and the guarantee of respect for human rights, has addressed to several public institutions, requesting relevant information for the purpose of preliminary verification of the situation.

The Chairperson of the Laws Commission, Mrs. Bushka has asked the High Inspector of Justice for information on the measures taken to verify the possible disciplinary responsibilities of magistrates in the prosecutor's office and courts, where cases against the perpetrators of crimes have been examined.

Information on the implementation of law no. 62/2022 "On the National Register of Convicted Sexual Crimes".

The High Judicial Council and the Ministry of Justice are requested information on the implementation of the obligations for the creation of a database on court decisions for cases of domestic and gender-based violence, according to the provisions of Law no. 9669/2018 "On measures against violence in family relationships", amended.

The Municipality of Tirana and the Municipality of Kamëz are requested information on whether there is a reference to the coordinated mechanisms for the referral of cases of domestic violence according to the legal obligations for the perpetrator of the crimes in question and the measures taken, if any.
