Taking the trigger from the serious event that happened yesterday where the citizen Dan Hutra killed three women and injured three others, journalist Enkel Demi this morning made a long and extensive analysis of the way women are treated nowadays.
Concerned by what is happening, he said that the way ladies, young ladies and children are treated today is terrible.
The journalist said that after the 1990s in Albania, we have seen how "gangsters" who have become entrepreneurs or may have civil functions have trafficked their cousins or their wives.
Demi further added that we encounter abusers of women in every institution, even in the media, where it is precisely the latter that advertises them.
What is more terrible is the fact that nowadays, according to the journalist, it is the parents who call the televisions where they ask their daughters to appear on shows to be identified as escorts.
" Despite the fact that today, or tomorrow, women's associations will come out to do their usual parades, meanwhile violence against women starts at the top, we have verbal violence, insults, and we have them not only in politics but also in the media, everywhere. The way we treat ladies, young ladies or children is terrible.
After 90, many of these Cubans of today, who may have become entrepreneurs, may also hold state functions, have taken their uncle's daughters, trafficked their first cousins or got engaged, and their wives have trafficked them. There are rapists of women in the police, there are in the justice system, and there are rapists of women in the media. We also see in the media what is happening. These guys are "funy" who do it day after day in the media. We see programs being built and succeeding through the virtual prostitution of girls. Girls are trafficked here.
We are saying this program today, but we have a daily pressure from the community, but also from parents to show on television young girls who have undergone many plastic surgeries to appear as escorts. Here prostitution is open to the public and it is the media that supports it and the state that supports it. In a way we are turning into a coding nation. This is the scandal going on here. It is terrible here to appear on TV because you have a lover with the director, or to go out to make a political career because you took the stairs with your knees and not your feet.
We know these things, we tell them, there are cases where we denounce them, but what does this show? We are in a circle and we can't get out. How do we get out? This people needs to understand what it is and that's where education is needed ," said Demi.
