The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, has commented on the statement of the British interior minister, who said that the Albanians who go to the country illegally in dinghies are invading the United Kingdom, describing them as criminals.

Begaj said today from Kukësi that he does not agree with the statements made by the British minister about the Albanians.

" I do not agree with the statements made by the interior minister, they cannot be anathema and labeled as invaders due to the fact that Albanians live and work everywhere in the world, have been integrated in many countries of the world and have built their lives and worked in a normal way by paid taxes, it is not right to be bullied in this kind of thing.

I have asked the British government to make its investments in areas where there are immigrants, the right way for me and my request to them is the investments of the English government in this region ", said Begaj from Kukësi.
