Two young men from Pogradec managed to save a 31-year-old man who, under the influence of narcotics, attempted to jump out of the window of his sixth-floor apartment. The incident occurred in neighborhood no. 4 of the city, where the 31-year-old's elderly mother was trying to stop her son from committing the serious act.

Then the two young men who were returning from the Mosque happened to see the event and quickly went up to the palace.

'In the first moments we were talking to him, telling him you shouldn't do it because you're still young. About 4 minutes later, 2 police officers arrived who had been notified by the people who had gathered at the scene. And the police officers started talking to him with kind words so that he wouldn't end his life. They tried to keep him with kind words for a few minutes, but when they saw that the young man wasn't acting, a police officer tried to climb up, but when he came back empty-handed, he climbed up again, and the police officer came back empty-handed,' Ernest Dulellari emphasized.

Immediately afterwards, the two young men climbed up themselves to help the young man's mother.

'When I went inside I saw that the person was hitting his mother with an elbow in the face and she let go for a moment. The moment my mother let go I jumped towards him, putting my hand on his shirt and pulling him inside. Meanwhile I was screaming for help as he kept trying to go towards the window and jump. The person said that he was annoyed by people's words, they were mocking him and he was being bullied,' said Ernest Dulellari.
Faith in God, the two young people from Pogradec say, led them to save a life.
