Police arrested two people today in the city of Korça.

They were arrested by the blue forces after cocaine and cannabis were found on them. Initially, the police arrested a 25-year-old man after he was caught with suspected cocaine, which was divided into doses. 

The 25-year-old was arrested in the village of Zëmblak, and it is suspected that he had prepared the quantity of cocaine for sale.

Later, a 20-year-old was also arrested, who was found with a significant amount of the narcotic substance cannabis.

The police have escorted the two arrested people to the police station, while they are further investigating the cases.

Announcement :

"Last night, the police, based on information, arrested a 25-year-old man with the initials SD after a quantity of suspected cocaine was found on him, which he had divided into doses. The 25-year-old was arrested in the village of Zëmblak and it is suspected that he had prepared the quantity of cocaine for sale. During the police operation, a vehicle was also seized in which the 20-year-old driver with the initials AT was found to have a considerable quantity of cannabis.

At the time of the police stop, there was another citizen in the vehicle who tried to run away but was caught by the police services. The narcotics were found inside the vehicle of the 20-year-old, who is also suspected of distributing drugs. The 20-year-old was arrested while the other person who was in the car and tried to leave was released. The action last night was finalized by the anti-drug sector at the Korça Police Department , while it is learned that house searches were also carried out and the narcotics seized in both cases, as well as mobile phones, were seized. Investigations continue by the police and the prosecution.
